The silence of the empty art gallery felt oppressive to Olivia. She leaned against the cool wall, the fluorescent lights buzzing above her head. She was running on fumes, and the pressure of the upcoming exhibition was crushing her. She needed a break.

"That performance… remember?" Daniel asked, walking towards her. "The dance piece? It was so abstract, so thought-provoking." His voice sounded excited, full of life.

Olivia stared at him, confused. "The dance piece? We saw the puppet show. Remember the tiny puppets and the catchy music?" She felt a dull ache behind her eyes.

Daniel looked puzzled. "Puppet show? No, it was a modern dance. I remember the choreographer talking about the symbolism of the movements after the show." He was trying to figure it out.

Olivia felt a sudden, intense weariness. The puppet show, the bright colors, the laughter… it was all so clear in her memory. "Maybe I just… forgot," she murmured, the words barely audible. The weight of the world felt heavy on her shoulders.
